The Full Story

Mariah E. Graves is a passionate and dedicated trained musician and teacher of voice. She has sung in the United States and Austria, in recitals, concerts, fully staged productions, and scene performances. As an interdisciplinary performer, she adapts her technique to accommodate classical singing, singing for musical theater, gospel, jazz and more. As an advocate for new music, she has premiered works like "Breath of Life" (J. Todd Frasier) and "Sanctuary Road" (P. Moravec). Her skills in competition have gained her notoriety and provided her with awards like the Second Place Graduate Alltech Scholar Award 2024. She continues to compete and seek performance opportunities internationally. As a teacher, Graves is a strong advocate for her students. She encourages body awareness while engaging in performance-centered techniques. Her passion for teaching continues to provide her with a large age range of students, from ages 10 to 65. Her desire is to be a part of vocal journey of her students and provide them with adaptable techniques that can be replicated outside of the practice room.
